The X-Bolt Composite Hunter isn't flashy, but it is durable, accurate, well-thought-out, and has all the elegant lines and curves you'll find on "prettier" rifles. This particular model, however, does benefit from the added corrosion resistance of a stainless steel action and the unique bi-tone appearance that the combination of stainless and matte blue steel provides.
The barrel, bolt, and receiver are also finished in a flat, durable non-glare surface finish. This is a rifle with all the deluxe features of the X-Bolt family, but rugged enough for the demanding hard-core deer, elk, and sheep hunters.
