When it comes to size this CMMG® Mk47™ is the middle child of the bunch. With a 12.5” barrel it’s the longest configuration in the BANSHEE™ series, offering the right blend between maneuverability and ballistic performance. The Mk47 platform is CMMG’s mid-size AR platform, utilizing more robust receivers and components, like our PowerBolt Technology, without adding unneeded bulkiness. If the magwell on the Mk47s looks ready to take AK-pattern magazines, you would be right. Since AK magazines were designed around the 7.62x39mm cartridge we figured if it’s not broke why fix it?
Available in a variety of cerakote finish options (this one being Armor Black), the BANSHEE series represents the most innovative AR pistols and SBRs available today. From the quick deploying RIPBRACE®, to the stylized receivers and EML™ handguards, every BANSHEE is tailor-made to be the personal defense weapon you can always depend on. With full length M-LOK® slots on both sides and the bottom of the handguard as well as M-LOK between the top picatinny rail sections, you’ll always have enough space for those must have accessories.
