Crooked front site, horrendous trigger, subpar fit/finish on the wood. Unfortunately, I am very displeased with Marlin, their pride of craftsmanship is lacking. On the other hand SOSS is a great seller with fast shipping!
I got that rifle around 23 years ago and its everything I expected. Shoots great, the action is smooth and hits the target great. I couldn't ask for a better rifle and mine is stamped JM on the barrel.
