Spyderco Manbug CPM SPY27 Folding Knife

The Manbug® is a deceptively small back lock folding knife that comfortably fits on a keychain yet cuts with the authority of a much larger knife. This unique expression of it showcases a blade crafted from CPM® SPY27®, a state-of-the-art powder metallurgy steel that supercharges the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium. Developed in close cooperation with Crucible Industries® and exclusive to Spyderco, CPM SPY27 offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. Taking full advantage of these properties, this knife’s satin-finished, full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade is paired with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle injection molded in a distinctive cobalt blue—one of the signature handle colors of Spyderco’s elite SPY27 family of knives. It also features a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure grip.
