Product Description

The Aero Precision Tephra-22 rimfire suppressor in clear anodized is designed for range shooting and varmint hunting with compatible rifles and pistols. Model APRS100049C combines seven stainless steel baffles with an aluminum outer tube and end cap. It measures 5.4 inches long and weighs 7.2 ounces.

Rimfire and 5.7x28mm Compatibility

The Tephra-22 supports .22 LR, .17 HMR and .22 WMR, along with other cartridges identified in the specifications below. Its compatibility extends beyond rimfire ammunition to include 5.7x28mm. Aero specifies full-auto ratings for .22 LR and .17 HMR, while 5.7x28mm use is rated for semi-automatic fire.

Removable 17-4 Stainless Steel Baffles

The seven-baffle stack can be accessed for cleaning without specialized tools, allowing you to remove fouling from the internal components. This user-serviceable construction is useful for regular rimfire shooting, where cleaning is part of routine maintenance.

Aero permits ultrasonic cleaning of the stainless steel components, but not the aluminum outer tube or end cap. Follow the manufacturer's component-specific cleaning instructions to protect those aluminum parts.

1/2-28 Mount and Clear Anodized Finish

The direct-thread mount fits compatible barrels with 1/2-28 muzzle threads. Confirm both the firearm's caliber and mounting requirements before selecting a suppressor.

Clear anodizing covers the aluminum tube and end cap, while the serialized stainless steel housing has a nitride finish.
