Description

The ATLAS R-ONE is the newest addition to the Aero Precision handguard lineup. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the R-ONE handguards are engineered with size and weight in mind, providing an ideal handguard for lightweight builds. Aero Precision’s proprietary ATLAS attachment system is a durable, dependable mounting platform that maintains a slim profile while delivering the strength and stability customers expect.

ATLAS

The Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and attractive. It features two mirrored tapered locking nuts that deliver evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom-engineered barrel nut using a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent further secures the design and provides positive registration during installation. The even clamping pressure helps avoid handguard distortion often seen with other systems.

All mounting hardware is included with the purchase of an ATLAS handguard. Lightweight by design.
