Description

The ATLAS S-ONE is the newest addition to the Aero Precision handguard lineup. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the S-ONE handguards are engineered for minimal size and weight while providing a rigid, dependable mounting platform for lightweight builds. Aero Precision’s proprietary ATLAS attachment system maintains a slim profile while delivering the strength and stability customers expect.

ATLAS

The Aero Taper Lock Attachment System (ATLAS) is both functional and attractive. It uses two mirrored tapered locking nuts to provide evenly distributed clamping pressure across a custom engineered barrel nut via a turnbuckle screw. A ratcheting detent secures the design and provides positive registration during installation. The even pressure of the ATLAS system helps avoid handguard distortion commonly seen with other systems.

All mounting hardware is included with the purchase of an ATLAS handguard.

• Aero Precision rail lengths measure from the receiver contact point to the end of the last Picatinny slot at the muzzle.

Note: ATLAS handguards are designed to match seamlessly with Aero Precision M5E1 threaded upper receivers but may not fit some billet uppers due to indexing tabs. These handguards do not include a wrench; a standard armorer’s wrench will work with all M5 ATLAS handguards. Save when purchased as a combo.
