Description

The ATLAS R-ONE is the newest addition to the Aero Precision Handguard lineup. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the R-ONE handguards are designed with size and weight in mind, making them ideal for lightweight builds. The proprietary ATLAS attachment system offers a strong and slim mounting platform known for its reliability and stability.

ATLAS (Aero Taper Lock Attachment System):
The ATLAS system uses two mirrored tapered locking nuts and a turnbuckle screw to apply even clamping pressure around a custom-engineered barrel nut. A ratcheting detent secures the assembly and provides a positive registration point during installation. This avoids handguard distortion commonly seen in other systems.

All necessary mounting hardware is included. Please note: a wrench is not included. A standard armorer's wrench is compatible.

• NOT compatible with M5E1 Enhanced Upper Receivers or most billet uppers
