Description

The Aero Precision Minimal Optical Deflection (MOD) 4 handguard seamlessly blends robust construction with an ergonomic form factor, ensuring no compromises between the two. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, the handguard is engineered with a focus on stiffness to drastically reduce deflection under load. It attaches to the upper receiver via a steel barrel nut, which significantly reduces point-of-impact shift when using an infrared laser aiming device under load.

In addition to its premium engineering, the MOD 4 handguard offers several quality-of-life improvements. A full-length, 7-sided M-LOK™ interface allows for customizable builds. Steel-reinforced QD sockets enhance durability when used with standard steel QD sling attachments. The barrel nut installation is simplified with no timing required, and its lug pattern matches mil-spec castle nuts—eliminating the need for specialty tools. Two anti-rotation set screws provide additional stability, especially with third-party upper receivers.
