The Aero Precision Minimal Optical Deflection (MOD) 4 Handguard combines robust 6061-T6 aluminum construction with an ergonomic design, offering exceptional stiffness to minimize deflection under load. It mounts to the upper receiver using a steel barrel nut, significantly reducing point-of-impact shift when utilizing infrared laser aiming devices. The full-length 7-sided M-LOK™ interface allows versatile accessory placement, while steel-reinforced QD sockets enhance durability for sling attachments. The installation process is simplified with a non-timed barrel nut, a mil-spec compatible lug pattern, and two anti-rotation set screws for a secure fit with third-party uppers. Designed to match Aero’s M4E1 Threaded Upper Receivers and PRO series components, the MOD 4 is also compatible with mil-spec AR-15 uppers.
