Buffer tubes serve a vital role in the AR-15 recoil management system — but Aero asked, “why not do more?” The Enhanced Carbine Buffer Tube improves reliability, ease-of-use and durability by adding carrier support extensions, position-guide drain holes and a ramped tube profile. These design upgrades reduce carrier tilt and wear, shed water in marine environments, and make stock installation and use simpler and cleaner than traditional mil-spec tubes.

Features

• Carrier Support Extensions — Fully support and guide the bolt carrier group into the buffer tube after firing, preventing carrier tilt and unnecessary wear. Extensions flank the buffer retaining pin to secure it and help prevent the tube from backing out under recoil.
• Position-Guide Drain Holes — Drain holes at each position guide remove water in marine environments and allow trapped air to escape during compression for smoother cycling.
• Ramped Tube Design — Ramped profile makes installation of traditional carbine stocks effortless; hold the adjustment piece and push the stock on — no prying required.
• Proper Thread Depth — Threads are machined to the correct depth so fully-collapsed stocks don’t become trapped, giving a cleaner appearance without turning down threads.
• Mil-Spec Dimensions — Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum impact extrusion to mil-spec dimensions; compatible with standard carbine stocks made for mil-spec buffer tubes.
