Aero Precision Inc AR-308 M5E1 Bar Barrel Nut Kit

The M5E1 Handguard Barrel Nut is designed to connect Aero Precision M5 Enhanced Handguards to DPMS pattern threaded upper receivers. It includes five shims to properly time the gas tube with the upper receiver.

Features: Machined from 1144 Stressproof® steel with a QPQ/Melonite coating for durability. Weighs 5.4 oz and should be torqued to 65 ft-lbs using a standard AR-15 armorer's wrench.

Note: If attaching an Aero Precision Handguard to a standard threaded upper receiver, you will need an M5E1 Handguard Barrel Nut. Choose between an Aero/DPMS threaded barrel nut or an Armalite threaded barrel nut based on your upper receiver type. If you have an Aero Precision M5E1 Enhanced Upper Receiver, you do not need this barrel nut, as it is integrated into the upper receiver.
