Midwest Industries MCTAR-07 Stud Mount Adapter

This two-piece clamp adapter secures firmly to Picatinny or Weaver-style handguard rails using a single cross-bolt, providing a reliable front sling attachment point. The MCTAR-06 model features a pivoting 1¼" wide swivel with a rubber coating to prevent metal-on-metal contact. The MCTAR-07 includes a fixed, dome-shaped stud that accepts standard quick-detach swivels. For added versatility, the MCTAR-08 includes a 360º rotating push-button swivel for rapid sling detachment, while the MCTAR-08HD is built with a heavy-duty base and swivel to endure the demands of extreme tactical operations.

All quick-detach swivels are 1¼" wide and limit travel to prevent sling wrapping while allowing sufficient movement. Bases are machined from durable 6061 aluminum with a mil-spec hardcoat anodized matte black finish, while the steel setscrew is black oxide coated. Swivels and studs are made of steel with a black finish and accommodate slings up to 1¼" wide.
