Product Description
The Sons of Liberty Gunworks 5.56 Bolt Carrier Group is engineered for reliability and high performance in any AR-15 platform. At its core is a bolt machined from Carpenter 158 steel—heat-treated, shot-peened, and magnetic particle inspected (MPI) to meet military standards. The carrier is made from AISI 8620 alloy steel with a full-auto profile, heat-treated, carburized, and stress-relieved for maximum durability. The gas key is torqued and staked with Grade 8 fasteners and sealed with Permatex for optimal gas system reliability. The extractor includes a Sprinco 5-coil chrome-silicon spring with a synthetic elastomer buffer to ensure consistent function under stress. Tested through SP (Shot Peening), HPT (High Pressure Testing), and MPI, this BCG is built for uncompromising reliability in any environment.
