The Superlative Arms Patented Bleed Off® Mode direct impingement gas block for AR-15, AR-10, and LR-308 platforms adjusts gas flow by bleeding excess gas from the front of the block, rather than restricting it like traditional adjustable blocks. This design ensures cleaner and cooler operation by using only the pressure required to cycle the bolt carrier while venting the rest. It reduces wear on the bolt carrier group and upper receiver, lowers felt recoil for quicker follow-up shots, and includes a patented external adjustment detent that resists contamination. The adjustment screw is designed to avoid erosion, seizing, or carbon buildup, and includes a safety mechanism to prevent accidental removal. When used with suppressors or SBRs, the bleed-off port effectively reduces blowback by venting excess pressure forward.
