The Superlative Arms Patented Bleed Off® Mode direct impingement gas block for AR-15/AR-10/LR-308 platforms adjusts gas flow by venting excess pressure out of the front of the block rather than restricting it, as with traditional adjustable gas blocks. This design results in a cleaner, cooler system that reduces wear on the bolt carrier group and upper receiver. It also lessens felt recoil, enabling quicker follow-up shots. The patented adjustment detent is placed outside the block to avoid contamination. In Bleed Off Mode, the gas adjustment screw doesn’t restrict gas flow, preventing erosion or seizing and maintaining the integrity of the detent. A built-in safety mechanism prevents unintentional removal of the screw. When used with SBRs or suppressors, the forward-venting port helps minimize blowback.
