The Superlative Arms Patented Bleed Off® Mode direct impingement gas block for AR-15/AR-10/LR-308 platforms regulates gas flow by bleeding excess gas from the front of the block, unlike traditional adjustable blocks that restrict flow. This results in a cleaner, cooler-running system with reduced wear on bolt carrier group components and the upper receiver. Felt recoil is minimized, enabling faster follow-up shots. The patented adjustment detent is located externally to avoid contamination. In Bleed Off Mode, the adjustment screw does not restrict gas flow, preventing erosion, seizing, or detent loss due to carbon buildup. A built-in safety mechanism prevents the screw from being unintentionally removed. Ideal for use with SBRs and suppressors, the front-venting port effectively reduces blowback.
