For ground meat, distribute the entire packet over meat trimmings before grinding, mix thoroughly, and extrude into jerky strips. For whole muscle strips, cut into ¼" thick strips, coat evenly with seasoning, and marinate overnight. Cook or smoke strips to an internal temperature of 165ºF–170ºF, or until desired dryness is achieved. Refrigerate or freeze for extended storage. CAUTION: Do not combine with synthetic cure (sodium nitrite). This kit contains enough seasoning and natural cure for 10 lbs of meat.
