The DD4 V7 is built for shooters who want one rifle that can handle it all. Balancing reliability, maneuverability, and precision, the V7 represents the next step forward in the Daniel Defense lineup.
The time has come, $1,200 DD’s are here to stay! It was super nice to see an ambi lower. Now that I have it in hand, I don’t see a whole lot of need for it. The rifle is nice, nothing mind blowing but decent and tight. Appears to have good QC. I’m happy overall for what I paid. Trigger sucked though.
Nearly everything about this gun is awesome. The aesthetics are second to none. The build quality is unreal. The price blew me away. The only knock is the trigger is not superior, but it’s easily replaced. I have virtually no gunsmithing skill, but I was able to easily install a Rise Armament RA-535 in about 15 minutes. With the new trigger that I found for $130, this gun is everything I was expecting.
Called Daniel Defense to get the full specs, and they told me this gun is basically the Pro V7 minus the trigger. Awesome gun and a steal of a price.
