The Ruger Harrier 28600 5.56 NATO AR-15 rifle is a semi-automatic sporting rifle for target shooting and range practice. This black-finished model combines a 16.1-inch Government-profile barrel, mid-length gas system and Magpul furniture. It includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG.
16.1-Inch Barrel with Mid-Length Gas System
The barrel features 1:8 right-hand rifling and a black nitride finish that helps resist corrosion. Its 1/2-28 threaded muzzle comes fitted with an A2 flash hider. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, the Harrier also accepts .223 Remington ammunition.
15-Inch Free-Floating M-LOK Handguard
A full-length Picatinny top rail provides mounting space for compatible sights and accessories. M-LOK slots along the handguard offer additional attachment points without placing raised rail sections around the entire forend. Quick-detach sling sockets are located on both sides.
The rifle ships without sights, allowing you to choose the sighting system that suits your range use.
Magpul DT Carbine Stock and MOE-K2 Grip
The collapsible Magpul DT Carbine stock adjusts the rifle’s length of pull from 10.75 to 14 inches. Its dual-tension friction lock helps limit movement on the buffer tube without requiring a separate locking lever.
The Magpul MOE-K2 grip pairs a relatively upright 17-degree angle with TSP texturing, providing a textured gripping surface for your firing hand.
Forged Aluminum Receivers and Single-Stage Trigger
Both receivers are machined from 7075 aluminum forgings and finished with Type III hardcoat anodizing. The upper includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector. A single-stage GI trigger and nitrided bolt carrier group complete the operating components.
