The Colt M4 AR-15 pistol is a semi-automatic AR-platform handgun chambered in 5.56mm NATO, engineered to deliver duty-grade reliability in an ultra-compact, close-quarters footprint. This firearm incorporates a 10.3-inch chrome-lined, manganese-phosphate finished barrel with a 1:7" twist rate and an A2 flash hider, built onto mil-spec forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers with a matte black Type-III hardcoat anodized finish. Operating on a carbine-length direct gas impingement system, it comes equipped with a 9.5-inch Colt free-float handguard featuring Magpul M-LOK slots, an integrated full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail, a Magpul K2 grip, and an ambidextrous fire selector. The optimized defensive configuration is completed by an SB Tactical SBA5 pistol stabilizing brace riding on a 6-position mil-spec buffer tube receiver extension. The firearm typically ships with one 30-round Magpul PMAG, delivering an overall deployment capacity of 30+1.
