Production lead time on this firearm is days. If ordered by July 31st, estimated delivery time is mid December, before Christmas.
Choosing your serial number:
- You can enter your personalized serial number during the checkout process.
- There is a 12 Character Max-Limit - no dashes or spaces. Must be alpha-numeric (At least one letter and one number).
- The ATF requires at least one numeric digit within the serial number.
- The letter O is not permitted as part of a serial number. The number zero (0) is permitted, but must be combined with another numerical digit 1-9
- If ordering more than one of the same model, please remember that each firearm must have its own unique serial number.
- Please choose an acceptable second choice serial number. In the event that your first choice is unavailable, this will prevent any delays in making your firearm.
- Important: All sales of Henry Heirloom rifle are final. Henry Heirloom models and serial number choices cannot be altered or modified once an order is placed with Henry. Please ensure that you select the correct model and provide 2 serial numbers in accordance with the above.

But a select few frontier staples were so effective and so far ahead of their time that they remain just as relevant today.
One of those enduring designs is the octagon barrel, a hallmark of the repeating rifles carried by cowpunchers, lawmen, homesteaders, and outlaws alike. Valued for its added mass and stability, the octagon barrel helped absorb heat and steady the rifle during extended shooting, making it the clear forerunner to the heavy-profile barrels used on modern target and varmint rifles.
As a respectful tip of a Stetson to this timeless design, the H1 Frontier Rifle & Carbine pairs Henry’s world-famous rimfire lever-action platform with a classic octagon barrel and traditional styling. The Frontier Rifle features an 20″ octagon barrel and is available in .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle, .22 Magnum, and .17 HMR, offering everything from quiet plinking and small-game versatility to flat-shooting rimfire precision. For those who prefer a more compact package, the Frontier Carbine is offered with a handier 16.5″ barrel in .22 S/L/LR and .22 Magnum, delivering quicker handling without sacrificing the smooth action and accuracy the Frontier is known for.
To complete the period-correct look, the H1 Frontier is equipped with an easy-to-adjust semi-buckhorn rear sight with a diamond insert, paired with a highly visible brass bead front sight set in standard 3/8″ dovetail slots. A metal barrel band secures both the octagon barrel and the tubular magazine to a stock crafted from richly grained, hand-finished American walnut.
While the styling may look straight out of the frontier era, the H1 Frontier is ready for modern shooting preferences as well. The receiver is grooved to accept scope mounts, allowing shooters to add optics while retaining the rifle’s classic character. Inside, Henry’s famously smooth lever action ensures reliable feeding and effortless cycling, making the Frontier as enjoyable to shoot as it is to admire.
