The ATI Alpha Maxx is built around a 7.5" threaded barrel with a 1:8" twist rate optimized for the 223 Rem/5.56 NATO cartridge's full range of projectile weights in a compact AR pistol format. A 2-position thumb safety provides a familiar, positive control interface for shooters transitioning from standard AR-platform rifles, while the flat top polymer receiver offers a clean mounting surface for optics and accessories. The 5/8"x24 threaded muzzle accommodates suppressors and muzzle devices for shooters who run cans or brakes on compact AR platforms.
The AR-style 5.56 NATO pistol features a 7" M-LOK handguard that provides ample real estate for lights, lasers, grips, and other accessories across the compact 22" overall platform. A red and green duo adjustable sight ships installed for immediate use, while the flat top receiver accepts standard AR-height optics for shooters who prefer a red dot or magnified optic. The rear brace rounds out the pistol configuration, providing a stable shooting platform without the regulatory requirements of a traditional stock.
ATI developed the Alpha Maxx as a compact, feature-packed AR pistol for shooters who want the 5.56 NATO cartridge's performance and the AR platform's modularity in a short, maneuverable package. The polymer upper and lower construction keeps the platform lightweight while the 60-round window magazine provides an immediate high-capacity solution without a magazine change.
