I've reloaded nothing but Nosler bullets for hunting for the last 40 years. From Ballistic Tips to Partitions, I use the 165 for my family's four .30-06 rifles. Anywhere from fifty to five hundred yards, we have all dropped deer with one shot, one kill. No chasing. I love this bullet. My Dad, God rest his soul, used to use a 220 Core-Lokt, but it tore up a lot of meat. These are outstanding bullets. Even the 6mm Remington 95 gr. drops them out at 250. But you've got to use Nosler's manual!
