The Kimber 2K11 Pro Royal integrates a compensated barrel directly into its 4.25-inch length, redirecting propellant gas to counteract muzzle rise and keep the sights flatter through recoil for faster follow-up shots than a standard non-compensated slide can offer. An included magwell flares the base of the grip to speed up magazine insertion during reloads, a detail that matters most in competitive shooting disciplines where every fraction of a second on the clock counts. The ambidextrous thumb safety gives left- and right-handed shooters equal, immediate access to disengage the safety without shifting grip, and the adjustable sights let shooters dial in windage and elevation for their specific load and shooting distance.
The optic-ready slide gives shooters the option to mount a compatible red dot directly, adding a modern sighting option on top of the adjustable irons already included. The 19-round magazine capacity is substantial for a compact-barreled 1911-pattern pistol, reflecting the double-stack magazine design that has become common in the 2011-style pistol category the 2K11 draws its name from.
