I was pleasantly surprised at the condition. It needed a good cleaning and had a small amount of surface rust that came right off. For an old gun, it had very little wear on the action bar and outside magazine tube. Very smooth action after I cleaned it up, my sons Maverick 88 barrel fit right on it too. Parts are mostly interchangeable. Very pleased, the C-lect choke on the end of the barrel indexed well.
