The PTR 9SDM is a factory-configured, 9×19mm short-barreled rifle featuring a roller-delayed operating system, ported 4.58-inch barrel, PTR CS1 collapsible stock, and velocity reduction device.
Engineered for reliability and handling, the 9SDM pairs PTR’s roller-delayed blowback operating system with a purpose-built ported barrel, CS1 collapsible stock, and velocity reduction device..
The innovative 9SDM barrel features specially engineered ports positioned within the rifling grooves. These ports redirect gas to reduce supersonic ammunition to subsonic velocity while helping prevent bullet-jacket damage, minimize fouling, and simplify cleaning compared with traditional SD-style firearms.
