Solid barrel, inconsistent blued finish

This Mossberg 12ga barrel looks well-made, however, the blued finish on it was not done well. There are several areas where spotty, bare steel is showing through, making the barrel look cheap and worn out. I enjoy Mossberg's products but this barrel looks pretty bad.
