If domination on the firing line is what you’re after, the M1A™ Super Match from Springfield Armory® is the tool you need. The Super Match is the culmination of unsurpassed workmanship and all the best competition-legal features you can pack into a match rifle.
The rear-lugged action of the Super Match is masterfully glass bedded into an oversized stock. At the core of the Super Match’s unparalleled performance is the heavy match Douglas barrel. These oversized match barrels are the heaviest possible match-legal barrels that can fit in the M1A™, and they feature a 1 in 10 twist that gives optimal performance for the .308 match bullets we recommend. The Super Match also features a National Match recoil spring guide and a match-tuned gas cylinder. Add the match tuned 4.5 – 5lb two-stage trigger, .0595” hooded rear aperture (½ MOA adjustable) and .062” front sight, and the resultant rifle will blow away the competition with its precision and accuracy.

Finally received my Springfield M1A. Had to threaten to cancel my order if it didnt ship that day! Five days to ship and order is totally unacceptable! I am used to free 2nd day shipment on all the guns I have recently purchased. Wont be ordering from SOSS again! I bought a Python last weekend and it was here at my dealer Tuesday from Iowa City. As far as the Springfield M1A Super, I absolutely love it! Excellent fit and finish. Waiting for a scope to go shoot it since my old eyes dont like the peep sights on the rifle. Will be trying Nosler 175 gr. RDF ammo the first time out. Expecting outstanding accuracy out of this ammo.
Rifle has worked flawlessly, and has been super accurate. Really enjoy shooting this rifle.
