Specially equipped with suppressor-height 3 dot sights, this XDM is ready to accept the muzzle-mounted accessory of your choice. You’ll still find all the original features that make the XDM an industry standout – interchangeable backstraps, Mega-lock texturing and a match-grade barrel.

Look no further, this is what you have been looking for. I have owned one of these for almost 10 years or shortly after they made them. I needed a threaded barrel and it was cheaper to just buy a new gun and sell my old ones. I was a bit nervous after reading the other review. IGNORE IT! It comes in a very nice case that is made by Springfield. It comes with 3 mags instead of 2. It does not come with their factory mag holder and holster but I never used those anyway, they are crap. Do you want the gun and 3 mags in a nice case with the grips or a few bells and whistles for another $100 GREAT PRICE! GREAT PRODUCT! Thanks Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore. This is the 3rd gun I have purchased from them in the last month. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
The XDM FDE 9mm w/ threaded barrel is first and foremost very fun and comfortable to shoot. I have a medium sized hand, and the interchangeable grips allowed me to change grip feel, inspiring more confidence and better follow-up shooting.
Pros:
1. 19+1 is amazing, no feeding issues with 300+ rounds
2. Threaded barrel, suppressor already ordered!
3. Easy to field strip and clean
4. Very concealable and comfortable for CCW
5. Frame rail easily mounts a light or laser.
Cons:
1. Barrel thread protector requires a rubber o ring to stay tight; Viton M1x10 did the trick
2. Sights are tall but functional, great for suppressor use, replace if you'll never get one.
I was a bit hesitant about purchasing a XDM - having owned many Glocks & a few S&Ws, but this was a great deal - so I purchased the Springfield XDM 9mm 4.5 in FDE with the Threaded Barrel and what a sweet shooting package it is! Extremely Accurate & smooth shooting. The Match Barrel fits tight in the slide with no wobble or slop & the Match Grade Trigger beats any other Striker fired semi-auto Ive shot including Glock, S&W & Walter. The 19 round mega-zines are great - load them on Monday and keep shooting until Sunday! The interchangeable grip modules S-M-L match your gun & hand for perfect fit & control. Ive shot nearly a thousand rounds, but never had a bobble, fumble or stumble. I really LOVE this gun I plan to get a suppressor, so the threaded barrel and high sights save me extra money making the value of this package even better! All in All - 5 stars for the Company SAI, The Gun XDM & the Seller Sportsman's.
