Improving on the FNP™-45 Tactical, developed for the U.S. Joint Combat Pistol Program, the FNX™-45 Tactical is the latest in technological advancements in handgun engineering, offering .45 ACP performance and a host of unique features that no other handgun can match.
The checkered polymer frame comes in Black and has a low-bore axis for reduced felt recoil and enhanced operator control. Two interchangeable backstraps come standard to quickly customize the grip feel. All operating controls are fully ambidextrous for ease of use. The 5.3-inch cold hammer-forged, stainless steel barrel has a threaded muzzle to accept sound suppressors, compensators and other accessories.
The stainless steel slide has high-profile combat night sights and includes two mounting bases to accept multiple styles of optional red-dot electronic sights.

Never a FTF JAMM. MECH FAILURE, plainly said a accurate death dealer. Reddit multiple mounting plates. Haven’t changed the battery in my Holosun green dot I’m four years, raised cowitness perpffectly and 45 angled grip. Joy to shot one handed especially with my suppressor. It’s natural point of aim is just deadly!
I bought the FDE version first and liked it so much I decided to buy the black one. It doesn't feel like a 45 when you shoot it. It seriously feels like a 9. Even a friend who doesn't enjoy the 45 caliber said he wants one. This gun is phenomenal in every way... guy above me from 2015 said he had issues with Blazer Brass. I didn't have that experience with either gun. Ate the Blazer Brass like candy along with Aguila and Sellier&Bellot. Very soft shooting for a 45 in my opinion. Is it expensive? Yea. It is but it's worth it. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent safety systems= both de-cocker and thumb driven allow for cocked and locked carry- or just run it double action.
Very nice trigger too.

Made for big hands although comfortable and controllable enough with small ones.
