We have a number of Century Arms Pistols available. They come in both braced and non-braced options, allowing you to have your own iconic Century Arms Draco.
Like the AR-15, AK guns (both rifles and handguns) were designed to be easy to adapt to a variety of use cases. Our AK-47 rifles, for example, are the rifle version of these AK pistols.
However, even though they are smaller, they are still capable. Pistols like the Micro Draco from Romanian manufacturer Century Arms, for example, use the same caliber as the rifle variant: 7.62x39mm. You can expect around the same level of firepower, but in a much smaller package that is built for close-quarters self-defense.
If you're looking for other self-defense weapons, look through our Concealed Carry Collection. These compact handguns for sale are both powerful and easy to hide for daily carry.

AK handguns put the power of a rifle caliber into a small gun someone can easily control. It's like the inverse of pistol-caliber carbines: instead of pistol caliber rounds in a rifle-like firearm, it's rifle rounds in a handgun.
This Romanian pistol has two main use cases: home self-defense and as a "fun gun" to take out shooting. If either (or both) of these apply to your needs, great! You should definitely get the Draco. However, for any other use case, it's probably best to look elsewhere. Take a look at our Best Sellers to see some options that our community has agreed are great weapons.
While the AK-47 is adaptable and easily serviceable, it isn't "modular" like an AR-15. The AR platform is known for being able to easily swap parts and add attachments, allowing complete personalization in functionality and appearance. The AK-47, however, was designed to be simple, inexpensive, and easy to mass-produce. Stock AKs don't have any kind of modular accessory system (other than a side rail with some models); aftermarket parts are necessary to add even something as basic as an optic.
If you want simplicity, use an AK pistol or rifle. If you want customizability, use an AR.
There are few guns as recognizable as the Draco and Mini-Draco. While some may think it is just a range toy, the Draco provides a non-NFA option for a compact self-defense tool.
It is the more obtainable "AK74u" without the high price tag and rarity. It can be both braced and not braced, depending on how you want it set up.
The Century Arms Draco is a good alternative to more multi-caliber designs if you want a 30 caliber, compact option.
While other options like 300 BLK are more ergonomic in an AR platform, they run the risk of accidentally being loaded into the wrong chamber. Using 7.62x39 avoids this problem entirely by keeping the caliber and systems separated.
Typically, the answer is yes. These types of firearms are designed to work with 7.62x39 AK magazines. Not all AK magazines are made to the same specification, so some brands or models may not be compatible. The standard AK mag will work with the Century Arms pistol.
AK pistols are generally legal because they meet the ATF's rules regarding pistols and pistol braces. But you should always check your local laws since restrictions can vary from state to state.
As long as the pistols are within their proper specifications and properly maintained, they are reliable. The earlier milled receivers tend to have fewer issues, but the modern stamped receivers are just as reliable if they are within spec.
Yes. Century Arms pistols are Dracos. That is their official product name and includes the normal Draco and the Mini-Draco
