It's a great rifle for the money. I was reluctant at first, I was thinking of getting a Bushmaster. But this has surpassed my expectations. Try this rifle and you will see.
Purchased this rifle on the strength of the name and what some others had to say about it. First time out I put 160 rounds through it. No issues to speak of. For the price, you really can't find a better rifle. In fact, I'd say it surpasses just about any AR in the sub- $1,000 range for right out of the box performance.
This was a great buy and faast shipping.
I love this rifle. Sure it is missing a couple of the bells and whistles dust cover + forward assist but for the price it can't be beat. Since leaving the Army 18 years ago, I've shot mostly pistols and the occasional deer rifle. I went to the range to zero my new M&P 15 Sport and 3 rounds within a 1/2 of each other. I needed to adjust my sights but it was right on. Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore made it easy to purchase and ship to my local FFL. Fast shipping and low prices: a winning combination.
Have had this M&P Sport for a while and have no complaints. No jams, no negative issues. It does have a forward assist or dust cover-no problem. Thank you S&W.
