It’s difficult to tell if you’re going to love a pistol based only on the limited time you spend handling it at the counter of your local gun shop or looking at it online.
To really figure out if it is the gun for you, you need to shoot it.
Walther understands this and that is why they are offering a full 30-day money back guarantee on all new Walther handgun models. We encourage you to shoot it as much as you want for 30-days then decide if it is right for you.

The PPQ M2 9mm is a true breakthrough in ergonomics for self-defense handguns. The sculpted grip meshes smoothly into the hand. The trigger is the finest ever on a polymer, striker-fired handgun. The styling is elegant and trim. What’s more, the PPQ M2 9mm has been updated for 2013 with a new traditional reversible mag release button.
The new Quick Defense Trigger has a smooth, light 5.6 lb trigger pull for all shots. Short .4” trigger travel and .1” trigger reset for fast, accurate second shots. Facilitates double-taps. Superb trigger feel aids accuracy.
I have several hand guns and this PPQ-M2 in 22 Cal is without a doubt, my favorite. That being said, I bought the PPQ-M2 in 9mm and it is the same size and shape as the 22LR. The trigger is amazing as well as the sight picture. The grip melts in your hand and hardly any recoil. I'm a senior with bad hands and I can go to the range and fire off 100 rounds with no problems. My wife and son also like the gun. It is extremely accurate and light. I have since added the PPS-M2 to my Walther collection which is also nice for a warm weather concealment. I now use the PPQ-M2 9mm for cooler weather concealment and put my SIG 229R in the safe. As far a Sportsman goes AAA+ for quality, price and shipping.
This is an absolutely well built, accurate, nicely ergonomic, with a very nice trigger.
Took it to the range yesterday, put 100 rnds 115gr, and 30 rnds 147gr through it. No issues or malfunctions, very accurate. My very first firearm and I was able to hold groups smaller than my fist at 25 feet and 45 feet with either ammo. Very happy with this purchase. My friend, after trying my PPQ, decided to purchase the CCP while there, putting his Glock 19 Gen 4 down, he really liked the CCP!
I have had the Walter PPQ 9mm for over a year now & have shot all kinds of different ammo without any malfunctions due to the pistol. This gun has a great trigger & is very easy to clean. If you are looking for a reliable striker fired 9mm pistol, buy this one. You won't regret the decision.
I shopped all the available 9mm options and chose the Walther PPQ M2 in 9mm. I could not be happier with this gun. It fits my hand like a glove and the sight line up is perfect. I have run 200 rounds of various brand FMJ ammo through the gun with no FTFs. The gun is a dream to shoot, and is as accurate as my 1911s. I will be purchasing the PPQ M2 22 Tactical for economic plinking with the same gun as my 9mm. I am of the belief that polymer pistols are better for 9mm and 1911s for 45ACP. But...I may have to pick up a PPQ in 45 to round out my set.
Smooth shooter, great trigger at a decent price point. I've had zero malfunctions shooting several different brands and weights of 9mm. Easy to take apart/reassemble and clean. Highly recommend.
Oh man, this Walther is the best feeling handgun maybe ever. I've had Rugers, Sigs, Glock, CZs, Springfields I loved, but nothing melts into my hand like this PPQ. And it has three interchangable backstraps to fit almost any hand. It's light, balanced, crisp trigger, all I can say is everything I read in many, many reviews was right. Really a nice handgun. Workmanship looks great, well put together. Very nice. Good job Walther on designing this handgun!
