Ruger LCR 38 Special Revolver with Green Crimson Trace Lasergrips
The Ruger® LCR® is a lightweight, small-frame revolver with a uniquely smooth trigger and highly manageable recoil. The high-strength stainless steel cylinder is extensively fluted (reducing weight) and features an Ionbond Diamondblack finish for excellent durability. The monolithic frame, which supports the cylinder and barrel, is made from aerospace grade, 7000 series aluminum.
Bought this to check out the Ruger polymer revolver. Very happy with it. Small, light and keeps me company on the road in my center console. Shoots well, and the fiber optic sight is a big plus over my S&W. Can't go wrong with this gun.
After searching and reading reviews for 3 weeks, I selected the Ruger LCR 38 +P. I'm sold on the reliability aspect of a revolver. First trip to the range I put 50 rounds thru it. Snappy with that short barrel, but to be expected. Accurate at 7 yards and further, but I figure for self defense use would be up close and personal. Super light weight which was important to me for pocket carry. I can draw from cargo shorts with pocket holster quick and smoothly. My jeans pocket is a little tighter and cant draw so smoothly. Will eventually buy IWB holster for alternative method to carry. Purchase was easy, shipping very fast. I am very happy with my transaction, and hope to make another purchase in the future.
