The Ruger 10/22 Stainless Beech Stock Takedown combines all of the features and functionality of the 10/22 rifle, with the ability to easily separate the barrel/forend and action/buttstock for convenient storage and transportation.
The Ruger Takedown is as simple as locking the bolt back and verifying that the rifle is unloading, pushing a recessed lever, twisting the subassemblies and pulling them apart.
The simple reassembly of the barrel and action yields a rock-solid return to zero for consistent, reliable performance. Packed in a rugged, ballistic nylon backpack-style bag (included), the Ruger 10/22 Stainless Camo Takedown makes it easy to keep America’s favorite rimfire rifle by your side.

The Ruger 10/22 is a well defined, well reviewed 22LR rifle. This rifle purchased, the take down model with wood stock and travel case is well built and fun to shoot. The interest in the wood compared to a polymer stock was a personal preference. I introduced my fiancé to the rifle, and now I have to actually wait to shoot it due to her extreme like of the platform. Ruger hit a home run with the take down model.
