The GP100 Match Champion™ Model is designed with the competitor in mind. With its ergonomic enhancements and tuned action, the Match Champion™ delivers fast, accurate shots and takes the popular GP100® to the next level. It features a contoured cylinder, Novak® Lo-Mount Carry rear sight and fiber optic front sight, Hogue® hardwood grip with stippled sides and a slab-sided, half-lug target crowned barrel.

Easy on the hand and budget, all GP100 revolvers boast solid steel sidewalls (no side-plates), and frame widths that are increased with extra steel in critical areas that support the barrel, making them rugged, reliable, and dependable.

First, Sportsman's price was right and their shipping was fast. The Ruger GP100 Match Champion is built Ruger tough, has a really nice trigger, ergonomics, balance, grip and the accuracy is excellent. I can't tell you if the Match Champion extra cost is worth it over the regular GP100, but I am very pleased.

Not many places have the Match Champion version of the GP100, but Sportsmans had it in stock and had the best price. Processing & delivery was efficient and FFL transaction went smooth.

This revolver is built Ruger strong, has excellent ergonomics & trigger as well as the accuracy is outstanding. I do not have a regular GP100, so I can't tell you the extra cost for the Match Champion version is worth it or not, but I am very happy with this firearm.
