Great service as usual from SOSS. Fast shipping. Everything in great shape. I was going to put a Magpul stock on this, as reviews said stock is flimsy. No such thing.....stock seems very rigid and barrel was centered and free floating. 1 MOA out of the box, gonna be less with my reloads for sure.
Already an MOA rifle. Rotary mag is the weak point of the system, but now available in a configuration that takes AI-style mags. Also, now available, is an aftermarket stock from Magpul and a Timney trigger, if you really want to squeeze additional accuracy out of the CHF barrel. Factory trigger, however, is fine and very similar to the Savage accu-trigger. Factory stock is very light, but not great. Can be glass-bedded if you want to stiffen it up a bit.
1/2 moa at 100 yds and 1 in, at 200 yds. Ruger is a great rifle.
I had read other peoples good reviews of this rifle so was expecting it to shoot well. I was not disappointed. Shoots MOA groups with factory ammo so I am expecting sub MOA with reloads, light weight, well made. And you can't beat the price.
Only con is as others have noted the foreend does move too much.
