The ROMEO4A 2 MOA Red Dot Sight features unlimited eye-relief allows you to acquire the aiming point and the target regardless of the position of your eye behind the sight. An ultra-efficient red LED illumination system with user selectable brightness settings provides visibility with extended runtime in all lighting conditions. MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination System) powers up ROMEO4A when it senses motion and powers down when it does not, providing optimum operational safety and enhanced battery life (+50,000 hours). The readily available CR2032 battery is side loading, allowing for quick battery replacement without removing the sight.
The extremely robust design and construction of the ROMEO4A, combined with waterproof (IPX-7) and fog-proof performance, ensures a lifetime of reliable service in a wide range of environmental conditions. The ROMEO4A includes both a low profile mount (ideal for hunting rifles and shotguns) and a high mount (1.41" above rail) for AR-style iron sight co-witness.
A+ sight installed it on my Tavor. On the money right out the box at 100 yds.
I have been researching a Dot sight for my Beretta ARX and M4 in 5.56 and came up with the following finalist! Eotech Xps, Aimpoint T1, and Vortex Spitfire and Trijicon MRO. I came across the SIG series of dot sight namely Romeo 4 and 5 series! I was fascinated by the specs of the SIGs dot sight mainly on the ip7 water resistant, 50k battery life and the MOTAC system.... I took a look at the scope in the stores and was impress with the make.... Bought the unit and mounted it on my Beretta ARX100 and it works really good! Sight it in and the scope holds its zero and I really love the MOTAC system, and not to worry about turning the unit on and off .. since the battery life is rated so high I will see how well that goes.
