The Range Officer® Compact models offer similar benefits to the Range Officer® Full-size line, but in a smaller package. Whatever your reason for wanting a smaller, lighter and easier to handle 1911, the Range Officer® Compact might be right for you.
Even with its half-inch reduced height, you can still fit six rounds in each of its two included magazines.
While smaller on the outside, the Range Officer® Compact is all business on the inside. The Range Officer® Compact has the same quality forged national match frame and slide as the TRP™ 1911s and gets the same amount of attention when it comes to precision fitting slide, frame, and barrel. The four-inch stainless steel ramped bull barrel locks up exactly as intended – every time – because accuracy counts.

This is an excellent compact 1911. The fit of the slide, frame, barrel and thumb safety are on par with my Springfield TRP. The trigger pull is equal to that of my TRP witch is also excellent. I highly recommend this gun for anyone looking to get a well built 1911. It has functioned flawlessly thus far.
Overall the gun functions flawless for a quality 1911. I would not spend less on a 1911 due to its use for a home defense gun. The mags function flawless as well but I bought 2 additional Wilson Combat mags. Becomes even better and my confidence in the pistol surpasses my expectations. The gun had no malfunctions, failure to feed or mag complications using dirty steel casings. Not my first choice for ammo but ran out to range and decided to try it. It worked very well. There is no way you can be disappointed in this purchase.
This little ccw in 45 auto is a perfect iwb companion. Easy to pack, reliable and shoots the 45 auto round. Good price and fast delivery. Can't go wrong.
