I was expecting a beater of a gun and mine is close to new. It looks pretty lightly used, well looked after, and shockingly clean. I have not fired it yet, but it feels very solid. My 92FS is much more abused and runs perfect, so I'm expecting about the same out of this 96. These things are a steal. If you're on the fence, grab one. You won't regret it.
A Beretta 96 for under $300 Yep! That’s a really good value, I was a little concerned about the Fine rating but the one I got was in good shape. Obvious holster wear on the bluing, worn grips and a bit dirty but otherwise in great shape. I am going to put on new grips and do a little touch up with some cold bluing and it will be as nice cosmetically as it is otherwise.
