Featuring a 6" long slide, the 10mm Stainless Target (LS) embodies all the custom features found standard on every Kimber 1911, proving once again that Kimber simultaneously produces America's highest quality 1911, and offers the best value.
The Stainless (LS) is built from superior quality raw materials that are both machined and hand-crafted into the 1911 that all others are measured against. Each Stainless (LS) features a 6” barrel and slide hand-fitted to the frame, dovetail mounted rear adjustable target sight and front red fiber optic sight, a beveled magazine well, match-grade trigger, and refined scallop/checkered rosewood grips with the Kimber logo.

I have wanted a long slide for a long time. My choice was between the Kimber and Glock. Im very happy with the Kimber. Im not a Glock fan but they are very dependable. The only issue I had with the Kimber is the front sight optical piece fell off. Other than that im very satisfied with the accuracy and performance.
I am a novice handgun shooter. My experience is basically this wonderful piece and my Sig Sauer P226. No misfires and easy to control and recover from shots.
Not really a good shooter but I recover more easily for a second shot than any other 10mm I’ve shot. Excellent balance. I consistently do well at about 100 f.
