The Axis II Package Rifle is the perfect way for a new hunter to go from the store to the field. It is built on Savage's popular AXIS rifle platform with a couple of significant tweaks. First, Savage added the legendary AccuTrigger for optimized accuracy, the they topped it with a factory-mounted, bore sighted Bushnell Banner Scope. All you need to do is fine tune your zero, practice and go hunting.
This exclusive Savage AXIS II 6.5 Creedmoor rifle features a flat dark earth synthetic stock, medium contour barrel threaded for suppressor, and a 3-9x40mm Bushnell Banner scope mounted and boresighted.

Great rifle, cheap at $319 with the rebate, and fast shipping. Shoots .75 MOA with 140 grain Federal Fusion and about the same with 125 gr Winchester XP ammo. Heavy barrel but not bad to carry around. I'm overall very satisfied with the rifle and with Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore.
The reason for the 4 rating is that I had to change out the scope. It is not up to the task of the performance of the gun. The gun itself is a great, very flat shooting firearm and I would buy it again with no issues.
I did use the scope on another firearm, so it did not go to waste. I put a 4-24x50 scope on this firearm and love the combination.
