by Turner from Phoenix, AZ on March 19, 2023

So i bought this as my first Glock ever and i was not disappointed. It's a Police Trade in Glock 17, but honestly the one i got looks brand new. Theres hardly any wear at all on the pistol and the mags look brand new as well. I am very happy with my order and i will definitely by buying from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore again, you guys are Awesome.

(5 out of 5) Great Gun!
by Roy from Detroit, MI on July 1, 2023

This is a great gun. I have always loved the Glock brand and I owned a few but this one is a step above all other guns. The feel and the way this gum shoots is great, this is now my favorite fun. The Glock I received looked as if it was taken care of and it was clean inside and out. I recommend.

(5 out of 5) Police trade in Must have been a 911 operator

I am over-the-moon happy with my purchase. I feel that Sportsman’s Outdoor Superstore was very cautious with their grading system. This gun has less wear marks than any other Glock I own. This is my 6th.

This gun was super clean. Unless you get real nitty-gritty, my gun looked brand new. I got a Gen 5 for $20 bucks more than a Gen 3 I was ready to hit send on from another site. A few things that may help or fair-warn other buyers—your experience may vary. The gun I received was an SF (Short Frame) model. This means the grip is a few millimeters smaller, yes millimeters...and no option for changing the backstraps. No biggie to me. The one thing I was kinda bummed about, and got over in a minute, my gun came from an agency that was in a state that had a 15-round limit on the magazine. It’s a G17 with 15-round mags. I took one apart. You can remove a spacer to make it 17 rounds. You’ll have to replace the spring; it’s the same spring in the G19 model. These are cheap. I found a three-pack for under $10. Another thing to note: my mags were Gen 4 mags. They still go boom. Not that big of a deal, getting the quality of gun I received. I have Gen 2 mags, over 30 years old, that still work flawlessly. I bought this used gun for a purpose I knew might mess up the gun's exterior appearance. At first glance and inspection, I thought it was too nice for my purpose. I’ll still use it but will probably treat it with better care than what I thought.

In closing, if you want perfect and want to be the first person to mar the inside of your slide with the hood of the barrel, buy new. If you want orange followers in your mags, might have to buy new. Want a gun that will outlast you for 2/3 the price? Hit send on one of these.

Thanks again to Sportsman’s Outdoor Superstore. I’ll tell anyone who will listen to buy from you!
