The Patriot’s button-rifled fluted barrels are free-floated and have a recessed crown for maximum accuracy. At 22” in length, the barrels are long enough to achieve full-velocity from every caliber, yet short enough for quick handling in the densest woods. The Patriot’s attractive spiral fluted bolts feature an ergonomic bolt angle and knurled bolt handle offering plenty of grip providing for quick follow-up shots and enhanced shooter comfort. Its box-magazine-fed action makes loading and unloading a snap.
I purchased this rifle on 5-20-19 recieved it on 6-07-2019 it is a magnificent rifle very accurate and for those who don't know the recoil is the same as my 243 which is the same woodstock as this one I am very pleased with it i'm not a hunter just a target shooter my first outing my groups were touching i am a mossberg patriot fan smooth cycling and the barrel weight is just right thank you sportsmanoutdoor for a budget friendly rifle of great quality.
Received this rifle on May 31st, shot it the same day had scope mounted and bore sighted. First 5 shots were 1 inch apart. 3 were touching. This is a very accurate rifle. I also own it in 243, which the photo on this on shows brown wood grain. Mine is cherry wood. I love this color better and the recoil of 6.5 Creedmoor is just barely more than 243. My next purchase will be 308. Thanks! Very pleased with the purchase.
