(5 out of 5) Great Fun
by from Flint, MI on

Got one of these for my son. Had low expectations from a $400 quasi AR platform in 22. Figured we’d have all kinds of failures. To my surprise it was incredible. Went through few thousand rounds that first weekend. So good I went out and bought 3 more. One for each of us. We have a few dueling trees and go nuts. Doesn’t have quite enough energy to flip the 1/2” plates. The 22 tree is fun. So much fun and most everything is cheaper. Have no use for 556 anymore.

I have owned this rifle for 6 years; I got it for my son for Christmas. At the time, he was 10 and had been shooting my ARs, performing well with those. Just before Christmas that year, I saw this deal on gundeal.com, running for $400. It included a red-green dot, a 1-25 round mag, and a case – a sweet deal.

My expectations weren't very high, but we started dumping mags through this unit with multiple types of ammo that day, totaling 1000 rounds. I did clean and lube it up, as I do with all my units. Not a single issue occurred. I have an 8-inch gong and a 12-inch gong 100 meters from the bench, and whether shooting offhand or from the bench, it's on point.

With all that said, go out and get yourself some!

(5 out of 5) Great training rifle and just all around fun.
by from ELYRIA, OH on

Purchased in February 2020, in order to become familiar with the AR15 platform. When ever I saw 22lr on sale, I would buy what I could at that time. I also bought 7 additional Mags. When the national lock down happened and the shortage of ammo I had plenty of 22lr to shoot. Of the 6036 rounds of 22lr put down range since Feb. 2020, 3774 were fired with the 15-22. I keep records of all the rounds and misfires for each of my firearms The following manufacturers, fired 100% of the time- Armscor, Browning, Blazer, CCI Mini Mag, Federal Field & Range, Geco Match, Remington Golden Bullet HP, Remington Subsonic, and RWS Subsonic HP. The follow ammo fired a high percentage of the time. Aquila 98.0%, Federal HV Match 95.8%, Norma Tac 22, 99.3%, Remington Thunderbolt 99.6%, and Winchester 98.0%. Very nice training rifle for those looking to become familiar with the platform. I've even shot it in competition, and during some phases of tactical training.

Great 22LR! I picked this up for just over $300 with the red/green dot. While it is a pretty standard sight the rifle itself is excellent. All controls mimic an AR-15 so it is a great traning rifle for a fraction of the cost to purchase but even more so to shoot. 25 Round magazine is great but the quick semi-auto will chew right through it in no time. Certainly recommend picking up a couple more and it will be endless shooting fun to come!

(4 out of 5) Great gun at a great price!
by from Pk, KS on

I got the 15-22 instead of buying a 10/22 and adding tactical components as it is cheaper. I'm glad I did. Over 1000 rounds and not a single failure. It's light, accurate, and fun to shoot. I prefer this to my AR-15....
