I bought the field version of the Mossberg 500 on Sportsmans Outdoors primarily because of the price. I also had a hard time finding a version like this, which has the polished walnut furniture and checkered bolt. It looks sleek but classic, and it shoots extremely well. While the action isnt as smooth as Id prefer, it is by no means terrible. It gets the job done.
