(5 out of 5) Best Useful Fun Gun Around
by from San Antonio, TX on

This little piece of fun is carried all over the mini-ranch. Scrapes, and dirt are part of everyday carry. Shoots and hits well. Fast clean up, and its on to the next adventure as my son and I work to eliminate venomous snakes that have shown up to reclaim the land. Texas Cavalry

(5 out of 5) 1 year review
by from Wills Point, TX on

I purchased this silver Wrangler 5 days shy of a year ago. It is everything I expected from all the reviews and research. I have no problems except for the loading gate is very hard to open and has an overly sharp edge. I expect it to loosen up a little with use. The plain fixed sights are easy to get used to. The finish seems very durable. Grips are plastic and very thin but I replaced mine from my single six and purchased others online. Problem solved. Has accepted several brands of ammo with no hangups. I do like the loading feature where the cylinder will rotate in both directions during load and unload. I now own the black one also and am just as pleased with it. Great gun for the money.

(5 out of 5) Silver is gold!
by from SAINT LOUIS, MO on

I have the silver model and I love it! Its a solidly made weapon, its been very dependable, no issues at all so far. I have put about a 700 rounds through it and it just gets better. The sights are fixed and simple so once I got use to it I have been on target at all distances I've shot. Its a very fun gun to take out and plink with alot cheaper than my .45 &.40 cal to buy ammo for and I think it would be good for anything else you need it for.

I wish it was a double action but you cant have everything. I would suggest you go ahead and pre-order one, you will become a Ruger fan of you aren't already. Ruger hit a grandslam with this one.

(5 out of 5) First gun, not disappointed
by from New Tripoli, PA on

I didn’t know what to expect even though there are many reviews online about this gun. But when I got it, I knew it was going to last. It’s very durable, hasn’t jammed up or given me the impression it isn’t going to last, the cerakote is a nice finish on it. You can tell that some parts are molded but it doesn’t take away anything from the usability.

It’s a great beginner gun for those into the single six models, I would recommend getting new grips for it though XR3-Red models.

Fun! Accurate! Well Made! Fun!

(5 out of 5) Ruger Wrangler/Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore
by from Gainesville, FL on

Great inexpensive SA revolver for plinking or small critter control. Very accurate. I do recommend new grips as the OEM grips are very thin plastic. Any grip for Ruger Single Six fit the new Wrangler.
As far as ordering from Sportsman's Outdoor Superstore, great experience! Very fast delivery, great customer service reps that know the products sold unlike some of the other online gun shops and a competitive price for the firearm. Will shop this company often from now on!!
