Plating in firearms began initially as a method of corrosion-proofing in the days of blackpowder ammunition at least 150 years ago. Available in two “adult” barrel lengths, three rimfire calibers, and configured with octagon barrels, our nicely-figured American walnut stocks, and fully adjustable Marbles semi-buckhorn sights, this beauty features a mirror-bright nickeled receiver cover you can shave in, matching barrel band and buttplate, and a gleam that’ll get you noticed proudly anywhere you shoot it. Covering the gamut from the plinker-friendly .22 Short on out to the flat-shooting .17 HMR with a 20” barrel as a serious rimfire lever-gun varmint buster, the Golden Boy Silver can brighten up any shooter’s day.
