The H010G Lever Action .45-70 Side Gate receiver is blued steel fitted with an 18.43" round barrel and a removable tubular magazine of four-round capacity. The addition of side loading gate allows easy reloading and top-offs while you’re in the field.

Its pistol-grip buttstock and steel-capped forend are crafted of beautiful American walnut and cut with checkering to provide a sure grip. The buttstock wears a soft rubber pad to help shooters handle .45-70 recoil from a 7.08 lb. rifle. The model H010G is factory issued with a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and a brass beaded front sight. Because the receiver is drilled and tapped, scope mounting is an easy option.

I’ve always wanted a Henry.

Kevin in customer service turned an otherwise nightmare situation with my FFL dealer who refused my gun because of damage into a memorable experience. He went over and beyond anything I ever expected and made sure I got my replacement Henry rifle as quickly as possible after my previous rifle was returned back to them. The crazy thing about the original damaged rifle was that the FFL dealer saw box damage and then said the stock was damaged but when it was returned there wasn’t even a scratch on it. I have been dealing with this dealer for 15 years but he had a problem with FedEx and took it out on me. No more will I use him.

Again kudos to Kevin for turning an otherwise bad situation to good!

I finally got my Rifle and when I took it out of the box I was vary impressed. The fit and finish is what I expected from Henry. I cant give an evaluation on performance at this point because ammo has gone the same way as toilet paper did when this COVID crap started.

Overall, happy with tranaction. Shipping was a little slow, but during this time of the pandemic and low inventories due to the run on anything related to firearms, i understand it. After direct messaging on FB, and their fast response to it. I recieved my dream gun a beautiful Henry steel 45-70. Henry firearms are works of art and craftmanship. Thank you Outdoorsuperstore.
